Last night in my reading on 'Why architecture matters' is that in the book they were comparing how architecture can have things in common with the space. It also talks about the difference between natural and artificial light. In the Pantheon, you feel as if the world revolves around you even if you are not in the very center of the great circle it's all natural light. The very top of the dome lands on the floor in the form of a round disc of sun.
I agree that the Pantheon looks beautiful because natural light fills it up but I also think that you should include a bit more information about your reading.
